Sock Wars OMG
I just got my target and I am totally freaking out. I have to get on this sock because it's going to take me long enough that I will probably be killed first, but try I must. Holly, are you knitting the International Sock of Doom already?
Are you kidding? Of course I'm knitting the good knit in the 2006 Sock Wars. I have my target (size US Women's 9 mind you). I am off to a good start I just completed the heel turn of the first sock but I am freaking out that I will need more than 50g of DK yarn for a size 9 foot???? Unfortunately I am going to be handicapped by the Jewish New Year Family celebration which I am hosting and cooking for. Maybe my target will get some Tzimmes mixed in with the socks!
I am beyond envious (for which I will repent) but somehow my registration for sock wars did not go through. I am sitting here like switzerland without a sock to fight for.
Still a knit-nut, although not quite as crazy as I used to be. Well, crazy but not as crazy knitting. I admit, there will be more talking and less knitting, hope you can manage.

Is it rude to knit and eat? Sock #1 is done but it took me the whole 50g for one sock (I did get gauge). Do you think the 50g was for each sock?
