Rockin Sock Club Bounty
I don't know what my problem was, but it took me days to get my act together to get a picture of the fabulous sock club installment. I had to take two pictures to really give you an idea of the lusciousness of the yarn. Yummy! And now, of course, blogger is copping a tude so I can't get the pictures uploaded right now. Serves me right for waiting so many days to post the photos. Check back for them later.
And thanks to Linda, I was actually able to locate the cutie pie tatoo that they sent me! I didn't realize they would send me a new baby skein every month, so that was a very nice surprise. Have I finished last shipment's socks? Why, no I haven't finished those, and it's not very nice of you to point out my lack of FO's. There's a little too much on the needles right now, but more on that in my next post.
Of course, there's a new pattern with the latest yarn. And there's a chart. I guess my chart-a-phobia will just have to go away because the socks are too cute not to knit (after I finish the other socks).

Tattoo? What tattoo? I didn't see any tattoo, just another key ring with a hank of yarn. Where was the tattoo?
I have to remember to put the bumper sticker on my cat, too kewl!
One pair of socks done and another 1/2 done but waiting until I figure out what I want to do to the leg/cuff. I did them toe first and it was a great way to make socks no grafting!
make that put the bumper sticker on my car not cat, he would not like that!
Holly, I was so hoping you weren't going to catch your typo so I could have some fun with it! The tatoo was stapled to a blue piece of paper. If I could upload the damn photo you would see it. It was inside the cardboard envelope.
I've done the cuffs for the Rock'n'Weave socks, but not yet started the feet. Where did all the time go??? :P
I'm in the same boat on the socks, Emy. I've got both cuffs done and one ankle + half of a heel. I stopped on the heel because I was using 00s and giving myself arthritis. I have to go back to them.
I found a totally awesome sock knitting book! It is called Sensational Knitted Socks by Charlene Schurch. It gives diections for knitting tons (and I am really talking tons) of socks and (this is the best part) the instructions are for double points AND 2 circular needles! I am in sock heaven!
How did I miss that great sock book? Can't wait to see it when it comes in. Hope you found the tatoo!
I'm with Holly - that's a great sock book. If I'd known you didn't have it when I was your secret pal, you SO would have gotten a copy.
